The Chakras
Our Vital energy centers.
The word chakra; comes from the Sanskrit and means wheel. They are centers of energy located in the astral body. There are seven major chakras, the first at the base of the spinal column and the seventh at the top of cranium, those are the cross points of Nadis, by which circulates Vital energy. Each chakra vibrates at a particular frequency, has its own characteristics, and corresponds to a colour, is related to an element, a note of music and with very precise physical and emotional functions. The seven major chakras correspond to the seven principal glands of our endocrine system.
